Ribbon Décor and Details for your Wedding

Ribbons are one of the prettiest, most cost effective flourishes you can add to your wedding. They can be ultra feminine or tailored, depending on their fabric, color, or texture.

Organza is one of my favorites because it’s sheer, shimmery, and romantic. Doubled-faced satin is a classic and versatile ribbon that comes in a huge array of colors. For spring and summer weddings, I love to use grosgrain, the finely ribbed texture works in traditional, casual, or outdoor settings, and in a color like navy or chocolate, it isn’t overly girly. In fall and winter, I love to use velvet for it richness and warmth texture.  These are many ways to use ribbon, but here are a few more of my favorites.
